Sri D.V. Kulkarni - Joint Secretary

Sri D.V. Kulkarni, one of the pioneer founders to whom VVS will always be indebted, played a remarkable role in the early days of the institution. Despite being the Founder Member and Joint Secretary of VVS, he personally collected funds as hand loans from the residents of Rajajinagar to pay salaries to teachers. Once the finances stabilized, he devoted his efforts to mobilizing a team of dedicated and selfless individuals to whom he could pass on the baton. Fortunately, he soon met the duo of Sri K.N. Srihari and Sri P.R. Mundewadi, and the rest is history.

Sri Kinhal Srinivasacharya

Sri Kinhal Srinivasacharya - Founder Treasurer

Sri Kinhal Srinivasacharya, belonging to the first line of founders, had the singular distinction of serving on the Executive Committee of VVS from the day the Sangha became functional. He is renowned for being the founder treasurer for 27 long years, providing complete stability to the finances of VVS.

Sri H.B. Purohit - Administrative Anchor

One of the pioneer founders of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Mr. H.B. Purohit has played a crucial role in bringing foundational stability to the institution. He was instrumental in establishing the VVS Kannada Primary School and has actively coordinated with various government offices and departments regarding all administrative matters.

Sri P.R. Mundewadi

Sri P.R. Mundewadi - Financial Pillar (6 Decades)

A Chartered Accountant and financial visionary, Sri P.R. Mundewadi has held prestigious positions in Kirloskar Electricals and Investments. Serving as the Chairman of VVS for almost six decades is indeed a remarkable achievement. His vision has guided the institution towards discreet expansion and consolidation for the future. He has consistently emphasized high-quality education and the integration of ICT in classroom engagement. Altruistically envisioning welfare schemes for VVS employees reflects the foresight and commitment that define his leadership.

Sri K.N. Srihari

VVS Pillars - Former Secretary

Sri K.N. Srihari - Gandhian Idealist & Former

Born into the family of Village Shanbhogs, Sri K.N. Srihari embraced Gandhian ideals. His entry into VVS, serving as Honorary Secretary and later Vice Chairman, showcased his idealism, knowledge, and focused dedication. Through his efforts, VVS gained a rich cultural and literary identity, as he was a connoisseur of native art, literature, and dramatics. Under the banner of “Kavi-Kruthi Darshana”, he invited eminent personalities of Kannada literature to deliver lectures, providing a literary feast to the listeners. His selfless and untiring dedication has contributed immensely to the present glory of VVS.

Sri B. Parthasarathy

Sri B. Parthasarathy - Walking Encyclopaedia of VVS

VVS is privileged to benefit from the services of Sri B. Parthasarathy, an ex-Chief Engineer of the Damodar Valley Project, whose experience and expertise have been instrumental in designing the physical infrastructure of VVS’s being main institutions, including Saptharshidhama, Dhruvadhama, Mangaladhama, Prakruthidhama, and others. A perfectionist and highly knowledgeable individual, he served as a Vice Chairman of the Sangha and was affectionately known as the “Walking Encyclopaedia of VVS”.

Sri M.N. Lakshminarayana Rao - Academic Guide

Sri M.N. Lakshminarayana Rao was a brilliant orator and teacher. With his vast scholarship, experience, and wisdom, he could excel in any role within VVS. He served as a coordinator and provided invaluable academic guidance to all VVS institutions.

Sri P.G. Dwarakanath

Sri P.G. Dwarakanath -former Pillar

The former of VVS, Sri P.G. Dwarakanath, has been the guiding force and a pillar of support for the establishment of VVS Institutions, Mysore. He has been chiefly instrumental in procuring the space where the institutions presently function as . A National Best Teacher Awardee, he is widely recognized and respected in the academic circles of Karnataka. His rich academic and administrative experience has provided a cutting edge to all academic and co-academic activities of VVS. His timely guidance and discreet vision have consistently created effective roadmaps for governance across all VVS institutions. Simplicity and humility was addoring his academic competence.
